On Jan. 2 you will see posted on our website, mind-cap.org, all the info for the upcoming horse camp. To say I'm excited about this year's camp is an understatement. We have a fabulous art teacher, Amy Ensley-Noehren, and an amazing music instructor (who is also an accomplished cellist) Michael Frigo. The mighty MINDCAP duo, Anne Merritt and Julie Smith, will bring their creative spark (I should call it a flame because of it's magnitude). MINDCAP activities will be hands-on problem solving in the outdoors. Campers will spend all morning with the gifted Allison Wheaton (a true horse whisperer I am so honored to call friend and colleague) in the arena with her horses, who for some unknown reason, have the ability to calm, delight, and empower humans. The afternoon will be ART! MUSIC! and MINDCAP! Only 18 fortunate children, ages 8-17 will get this camp experience. It is purposely small and mighty. Watch for details on Jan. 2!
